It might be greek as I know a few lintzeris. It is written Λιντζέρης. For example Λιντζέρης Δημήτρης (lintzeris dimitris) is a politician in Athens.

I ran it in google, and find a number of entries related to Australia... but if that is where you already are (you don't mention), then you know that.
Thus, the way to find the actual origin is to trace your ancestry back, one step at a time. The name MIGHT have originated in one country, but that does not automatically translate into being your "heritage", unless you document your ancestry.
