Why do people that have alot of money wanna win the lottery over and over again? On top of that, complain they are broke. Why cant they give us broke ppl a chance, let us spend our last dollar and win the millions. Sometimes i just wanna slap ppl like that. Im a cashier at a gas station, and i see it all the time. Ppl coming in and putting like 10 dollars on like mega or lotto, its like their a magnet to success or something. I know its addicting, but still. Give us poor ppl that little bitty chance to get what we need or really want. Wouldnt that be so cool? Yup, and now i sound like a money digger whine *** huh? How many ppl are with me on this?

Because it's a random draw and the numbers don't care if you have one dollar or a billion dollars to your name.

The other idea is that the more money you have, the more free money you have to spend on lottery, the more tickets you buy, and thus you have a better chance of winning.

Someone putting $10 on lotto doesn't decrease your chances of winning, it increases the prize pool. The lottery is a losing proposition, and it's dangerous to think of it as anything but a cheap gambling thrill.

Take it from an expert, winning the lottery often destroys people's lives - especially if they have never had a large amount of money before. Research it on the internet. You'll see the suicide rate for poor people who win large sums is high... or they do something else which is self-destructive. The reality is that a win of $100,000 or even $1,000,000 is not an infinite amount of money. So if you're gonna play, keep in mind to just buy the things you need that will give you long time pleasure and resolve that you'll think long term. Generally - it's a sucker game.

I know it seems unfair, but anyone can buy a ticket. What I would like to see is 300 million people win a million each instead of 1 winning 300 million. No one in the world needs that much money. You can't live long enough to spend it even after you give to all your friends, relatives, and charity. One million dollars each would set someone up for life and really boost the economy.
That's 300 million people spending money.

Rich people playing the lottery doesn't affect your chance of winning it. It's all just a random drawing of the numbers you picked. You aren't competing against them, and they don't gain some advantage by being able to buy more tickets. In fact since the lottery is a losing game, it actually helps you win more since their losing tickets go into the jackpot of the next drawing, giving you better odds.

Maybe cashiers like you are the ones that short-changed me twice when I was buying lottery tickets by $5.00 both times and one place was a gas station........no just kidding about you but I was short-changed while buying tickets......but got it straightened out.

Rich people just have more money to spend and that increases their chances of winning......they like to gamble just as much as poor people do.

I'm surely not rich but like to gamble especially at pick 3....I win sometimes but only buy 50 cent tickets so don't think that is too much to spend.......though I buy a lot of them....more chances that way.

Good luck on winning. I have found out when you don't try to win too hard is when you win.

What pisses me off is when people win an ungodly amount of money and then say that they want to continue to work at their jobs. Why then do you play the lottery if you plan on keeping your job.
