oh thats a hard one, in all honesty I've always been the heart breaker and in my entire life only had my heart broken once many years ago as a teenager, so as most people having been on both sides if your the heart breaker your the b**ch but if you have your heart broken you have all the sympathy, still think I'd rather be the heart breaker it all about self preservation!

Would rather be heart broken not that its any fun. Since breaking someones heart is a bad thing I think you will feel worse in the long run and worry about how someone took being heartbroken.

This may sound stupid but I would rather be heart broken. I know how bad It hurts to get your heart broken and I don't wish that upon anyone, And since I have already experienced the pain, I would know what was coming and be able to handle it and they might not be able to.

I have just broken someones heart and it felt awful -- the thought of making someone else feel like crap is far harder to deal with then feeling like crap yourself --- so i think i would rather be heart broken --- coz at least then i would be able to sort myself out eventually and i would be a lot easier to deal with than the thought of hurting some one else!! x

I always say it is better to have loved and lost than to never have been loved at all. So i guess I would rather have my heart broken so that I could have loved at least once in my life.

I have had my heart broken and it is the deepest emotion I have ever felt - however, that does not give me the need to go out and break somebody elses.
