Yes, but not because of how it looks. It is important to date within your own age when you are younger because of the maturity levels.

I think so as well. Generally lets take a 40 year old guy, never been married, doesnt have kids, lives by himself and could coarse a woman into his bed any night of the week, but is looking for a relationship, or so he says to her. Lets take a 24 year old girl. This girl has just got out of an engagement with another guy 1 year older than her. not even a week later she starts f ing this guy every night for a week. she says that she doesn't have feelings for this man and no kind of relationship is to come of this. she's done this to a lot of people and willingly admits it. and all of her friends know the same. Why would you do this? I mean this man is ALMOST old enough to be her father. Its wierd and I dont know what to make of it. also lets take another sinareo, My Lead singer was dating a 46 year old man, she was 27, she needed a place to stay down here. now we had a traveling band(europe, all over the u.s.a. and japan) and every time she would go to the airport with this man, it seriously looked like a father and a daughter were passionatly kissing... disqusting to say the least haha.

When one is frustrated with the things one expect in a relationship, we tend to seek for a better way to resolve that, and one of the ways is finding one that understands you, mostly they are older than you are. Less emotional turmoils experienced in a larger age gap, I think, brings a sense of security, acceptance, accommodation and appreciation, which is often a times missed and taken for granted in same age relationships. I have learn ed that most of the people who have larger age gap relationships as the initial relationship, have a hard time maintaining same age relationships later in life, and the visa-versa tends to be doable and workable.
Its been a norm that younger girls date older guys, and the contrary raises eye brows - yet sexually, older women love the energy and vigour in young men/blood, while older men can afford immature urges of expenditure demanded by the young girls. However, physiologically girls mature earlier than boys, hence find mature relationships workable with older men than their age abouts.
To answer your question, I think it all depends on you. If you are comfortable with an older person, avoid dating young blood - at the same time, remember that fantasies have their own frustrations. Life is a game of Gamble, some are just lucky, others work on their opportunities. Good luck

As long as they are not under age and the feeling is mutual then why care how it looks? No one has the right to dictate who we live or have a relationship with because they don't think its right. Your are the only person who will know if the person is right for you or not hence it is your sole decision don't allow society to impose their narrow mindedness on us.
If society can accept gay people and marriage (not that I have anything against gay people) then why question a relationship irrespective of age difference? Are there any moral issue at stake here and if there are what are they? I cant think of one.

Yes - or at least within 5 years plus or minus. I have 2 friends that married much older men and both are now divorced. The women grew and changed and no longer had anything in common and their spouses were too old and set in their ways to meet them half way. May - December relationships rarely work these days unless the man purchases a woman from overseas and she only stays with him as a way to get her greencard......

The most important factor in a relationship is not how the 2 of you look together, especially seen by others, but how do you feel about each other & how to you get on happy & harmoniously. Age is not often determined by how old or young the person is but how mature or childish. A few years difference on either end shouldn't interfere with a well suite relationship.

I don't think age should matter to much so long as the people are over the age of consent, Saying that I've always had relationships with older guys as I can't take guys younger then me seriously and guys my own age still need to grow up a bit.
Who knows maybe as I get older the blokes will get younger!!

nicely, oftentimes conversing. i think like I matured previous to maximum men arising. I dated many women, yet easily did no longer have a severe relationship until eventually i replaced into in my overdue 20's..My spouse is 4 years my junior, and that i imagine it has a tendency to be that way in the course of that age. i imagine guys have a lot of issues to envision, and they favor to get the immaturity out, and stabilizing themselves emotionally earlier pursuing a severe relationship. So i guess if I had to %. an age for men it might want to be over 26, and women in my view can be a touch decrease considering that they continually look to mature earlier.

I prefer a 2 or 3 years difference between the guy and the girl... coz usually the girl are more understanding and more logic than the guy in her same age

I would say that anyone under the age of 20years perhaps even 23years should stay with their own age group to say within 2years of each other. Reason being - we are all learning at these ages and experience so many things that we have to relate to. Some, mostly in fact, are good experiences and then we mature into adults so to speak. We have experienced things in life by say 23years and have a different outlook in life and find ourselves being attracted to many different things and you should have a more wider view of life by then, plus the awareness of others which is so important.

Whatever be your physical age, the emotions in your heart will always remain young. So if you care about your emotions more than your age, then it makes no difference wether you are going out with someone too much older or younger than you. Only your happiness counts!
