Even though many court and police records are considered public domain under the Freedom of Information Act, you will always find certain circumstances that prevent you from getting all the information you seek.
The best place to start would be the County Court house where the judicial records are maintained.
As for official "criminal histories," you will have no luck at getting those. They are maintained under very stringent guidelines and not released to the general public.
In over 30 years of law enforcement I've learned that many times you'll hear one say they "didn't do it." Sometimes that's the case because they DIDN'T do it. Those times are far and few between. The majority of the times is because of the embarassment or the attempt to change the course of events through an avenue sought by others...to lie about events in hopes they'll get a reprieve. With modern technology as it is today, wrongfully convicted individuals is not the norm!
Best wishes in your quest and I pray you find the truth!

You will be able to get a copy of the report, but it is gonna cost money. It probably won't be super expensive, but it's not free.
Secondly, if you want the TRUTH about what happened to put your boyfriends dad in jail, talk to the dad. Hes the only one who really knows what happened, right? Unless your boyfriend was involved, he doesn't really know what happened!!
I'm not sure what your boyfriend means by "false charges and nothing happened" Obviously the charges were very REAL and obviously something happened!!! He may have been wrongfully accused, but apparently a jury of his peers figured that there was enough evidence to find him guilty!!!

contact the sherrifs office where it happened they can lead you in the right direction. If he got 15 years it sounds like it was a jury trial. Seems to me if a full jury is convinced I would believe them over the boyfriend. And, if you go to a jail and ask the people if they are guilty most all of them will tell you no.

It’s all public record. Get that information for the county he was convicted in. Not all web sites for every county will make that information public on the web, you might have to do it the old fashioned way, by going to the courthouse and getting the records yourself.
Good luck.

you may call the courtroom clerk of the county they were prosecuted in and ask them what the expenditures were on the case in which they were convicted. you may also provide the clerk the man's call and date of delivery to work out in the journey that they produce different circumstances. you at the prompt are not entitled to a rap sheet. you would possibly want to pay a private investigator to run a history examine, expenditures variety.
