Yes, there certainly is such a disorder and there is no age limit. If you are seeking a name for it...forget it, you recognize what the disorder is and that is more important.
"Disorder" may not be a proper name as it tends to indicate something wrong in a negative fashion when actually wanting to be the centre of attraction is just being different than most people while yet most all people enjoy being flattered sometimes during their lives and usually not often enough !
Many people live their entire lives being the centre of attraction and have many lifelong friends un-offended as well.
It has ALL to do with personality and motive. If a person climbs the personality laddar at the expense of others in a demeaning and selfish way then, yes, that person has definitely got a disorder and needs help seriously and right away.
On the other hand, a person whom remains humble and compassionate to others while also adding laughter and enjoyment for all to share will certainly be the one most frequently asked to be part of an event, to always be talked about in a positive manner, to meet and retain the nicest of friends, to be remembered for special occassions and much much more as years go by.
If you happen to be this person, congratulations, as you will never ever be without a friend that cares...

i know a couple people who are 'narcissistic'..they think the world owes them homage, but i don't think any one actually calls there condition a 'disorder'...most folks just call them a$$holes.
