The same way that you make diesel oil from any vegetable oil, either by transesterification with methanol or by hydroprocessing.

Web site (source) has much about comparing the two. Apparently, castor is much more viscous.

http://www.survivalunlimited.com/biodiesel2.htm has one FAQ which says small amounts of castor extend diesel engine life.
