Smoke the bud first, enjoy the buzz for a while, then think about having the drink; you wouldn't want to waste a good buzz now would you?
A good ale such as Guinness or Harp's is always good with a good bud.

Sometimes I get the spins if I drink then smoke weed, but if I smoke some weed then drink, I get a really good buzz, plus it gets rid of that nasty cotton mouth. I would suggest to everybody to smoke bud first then move to the drink, and if you want to get real adventurous try drinking a few shots of Absenthe after you smoke some bud, because it has a natural hallucinogenic in it called worm wood. This is a very special drink and you will get a kick out of the proper way you drink it while you have a nice bud buzz. It is very easy to prepare all you need is a sugar cube; match; slotted spoon (a spoon with holes in it) and a small glass then you place a sugar cube in a the slotted spoon, then position the spoon over a glass. The absinthe is poured over the sugar cube and into the glass, and then the sugar cube is set on fire. Let the sugar cube burn just long enough to caramelize on the edges of it. Then a small amount of water is then poured over the sugar and into the absinthe (just enough water to put the flame out). Then you drop the sugar cube in the glass and stir it up. Once everything is mixed together, the beverage becomes milky in its appearance, and its ready to drink. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Roll a fat joint and light it. Take a few hits then pop the top off a Sam Adams and drink it till empty. Finish the joint and open another bottle of Sam Adams to kill the cotton mouth and pack your bong for some killer rips. switch off between a hit and a drink. After that you may want something to munch on, so eat something then continue to smoke and drink. Remember not to drive while under the influence of any drug.

Smoking first always was easier to control the buzz, than drinking first.
