Does that make you shallow? I always thought she was attractive, but now she's really hot. Is this bad?

No, part of it might also be that you were attracted to her in the beginning.....seeing her again after so much time might have sparked something that was there before.

If you were nice and supportive to her and talked occasionally with her as a friend, if you didn't look down on her or avoid her in the past, you are not shallow.....If you in any way projected negativity towards her....Leave her alone!, She might have done some big time Martial Arts training to slim down, and might show you some of her moves. The Fatties, Geeks, Nerds and others have a tendency to evolve into some pretty spectacular people. Every see a Jock or a Cheerleader at a 10 or 20 year reunion? I have and it will blow your mind when you see how people change. With that said...approach her, be honest, and rekindle your friendship, she'll know if you are sincere.

I don't think it makes you any more shallow than every other person on the planet. And since you thought she was attractive before she lost the weight, that makes you a little less shallow.

No, that's not shallow. People are attracted to what they're attracted to. However, I am in the process of losing weight right now--and when men start noticing, etc., I won't give them the time of day because they were nowhere to be found when I was fat.....and I'm the same person. In other words, make sure you like her for who she is not just because she's "hot".

It doesn't make you shallow at all if you were attracted to her before she lost weight. There's nothing bad about it. Just let her know that you are feeling this way and how bad you feel about not letting her know before. Might help you get her to feel that you don't want her now that's she's a hottie.

The fact that you are recognizing your own problem is proof that you are not shallow, you are well on your way to realizing that people are different, they have different bodies, hair, faces ect... People also should not be afraid to say what they are attracted to. I prefer men with long dark hair but I looked beyond that and married a man who is blonde and balding. As long as you remember looks aren't everything, you will be fine, also congradulate the person who lost the weight, it is a very hard thing to do, and she should be proud.

I think it is perfectly normal for one to have a preference. However, keep in mind that if you choose to pursue something further with this individual, the possibility for weight gain in the future exists if healthy eating habits aren't practiced consistently in conjunction with exercise. If you can't be supportive in both situations you may be slightly shadow, but nonetheless human. Additionally consider worse scenarios...having a partner who would give America's Next Top model a run for her money. Unfortunately, one day she gets into an accident and is paralyzed. What do you do then. It isn't always easy to do but try to be more accepting pf people for who they are not what you want them to be.Instead, love from the inside out as opposed to the outside in. I guarantee you that the rewards are greater.

No, you are not shallow but it would be really nice if you can tell her that you are proud of her weight loss and think she looks amazing. She probably would like to get some appreciation for all her hard work.

You shouldn't worry about How she looks Cause who knows you two might just have a future together and If she has your kids and can't get rid of the fat then what , I think that you should try to get to know her and not her body. Yes I think that is shallow.

No, you're not shallow. Maybe she now also presents her persona different, maybe more confident and proud of her achievement. That's probably what attracts you more than the physical part.

Yes... and No... If your not attracted to heavy women then even if shes lost weight it shows she prone to be heavy so it would be an eventual break up situation.. hopefully before the wedding bells and children arrive..
