You should just be friends with her for now. If she is not ready to date just stay close, give her time. If you are there for her now there is more chance you can get her in the end. Just give her time.. help her get over him. Take her fun places but with no pressure of being in a relationship. Her heart needs to heal. Good luck!

you don't want to hook up with "rebound girl"
you will only find out that you will be treated very unfairly. She is upset, possibly angry, and definitely confused. If you try to get with her, she may transfer all the bad feeling she has for the ex to you and be angry with you about things that didn't even involve you.
You can be there for her, but don't make a move until you're sure she is totally over the guy.

Why do you care? It doesn't matter if she is over him or not, you are just transitional man and she will dump whoever she starts hitting it with after a few months of full blown passion. Better to be the first guy in then the last guy out.

thats never good, you don't want to be the one she got with on rebound. its hard to make it work and you won't be happy b/c you will have to compete with the ex. the number one rule is don't try to start something new until you finished the last thing. so don't set youself up for a heartbreak, give her space and time to get over him, then you can try to pursue a relationship with her when shes ready.

no u need to wait until u know for sure, otherwise she could always go back to him, and leave u with a broken heart. it is never a good idea to get hooked up with someone right after a serious breakup, as more often than not they usually go back to their ex's.

Get involved with social gathering and having fun together will ease her mind from her ex, after she sees you are really interested in her and she will start liking you and no need to think backward for her.
