You may want to try a website that compares multiple companies at once to get you the best price. I am paying less than ½ after I did.

I've had State Farm for over 6 years and they're great. My brother was driving one of my cars 2 yrs ago and he crashed it. Since the car was insured by me, the people involved in the accident sued State Farm and they ended up paying. I really thought my premium would skyrock, but 2 yrs later, I haven't even paid a penny extra for insurance. I've never had a ticket or had filed another claim though.

if you mean which should you buy, if you are a good driver & live in a state that carries Geico, I'd go with them since they are cheap and don't have agents. The fewer phone calls I get the better, and no one will bother you at Geico so long as you pay your premiums and don't have car incidents.

I've used Geico for years, had no problems with them, but I have yet to report a claim.
