I think being so overweight that you can't get out of bed, hold a job, and take care of yourself or your children should be. Really, how do people (without medical problems) allow that to happen to themselves? Just being "fat" (a little overweight) shouldn't be illegal, but if it completely effects your life and everyone around you's, it's a problem.

yeah. Um no. You can't make it illegal anyway. I think mabey you being on yahoo should be. Thats just rude. Do you know how that makes people who are bigger feel? Well you probably don't even give a sh*t. I don't know why people have to come on here and be like you are. People come in all shapes and all sizes. Some people its not even there fault. My whole family is nothing but overweight.

I'm a little overweight myself, but working on it. But I can hold down a job, I can take care of my kids,,so forth. BUT I DO NOT get government help for just being fat. I know of some people who get a GOVERNMENT CHECK each month because they cannot work since they are so fat....!!!!!!!!!!!!.....THAT makes me very mad!!!! I'm working to pay for them to lay around and EAT???!!!!! yeah THAT should be illegal.

NO, everyone comes in different shapes and sizes. some people who are fat are born that way in there geenes. But,though you do kind of have a point. It should be illeagal to be seriously overweight, like more than 500 lbs.
But like, dude its there own decision to become overweight!!
It could be offensive.

No, but allowing your children to become obese should. It isnt right to set your kids up for a road of diabetes and other ailments and it only gets harder to learn a healthy lifestyle and lose the weight, its about health, not appearance,I dont care if grown individuals choose to be fat ( it is a choice if it isnt medical related) and if it is medical related weight loss should be funded if desired.

I would like to see how much off our tax dollars are spent on treating all these obese people. They make us where helmets in Cali. because the number of brain dead patients was draining the budget. They make public smoking illegal because the number of second hand smoke lung cancer patients are draining the system. Why not fat people?

Are you crazy? Next you'll want to outlaw blue eyes. There are so many reasons one might carry weight, and none of them are happy reasons. We can't make laws about things just because we wish everyone would take care of themselves. I've lost 250 pounds and I wanted to berate myself for not loosing it sooner, but we can only do what we can do when we can. Life is hard, and our experiences make us individuals so we all are striving to be better when we can.
