I'm in 8th Grade and at my charter school, we need to do an 8th Grade project on anything we want. I was going to do a history of musicals but I decided that's lame. I really want to either film a movie or write a play. It has to be 30 minutes. Does anyone have a good storyline I could use/base it off of?

What about writing a play as a spin off of a classic fairy tale? All children and adults have heard fairy tales. Make one of them your own by having the characters play modern day roles in modern jobs, dealing with current issues. Do Beauty and the Beast, with the beast being a politician. Or Little Red Riding Hood, but from the point of view of the wolf. You'll immediately have a topic that someone can relate to, fairy tales, while having to use your own creativity to completely remake it into your own composition. Good luck!

I very good topic would be, what is life going to be like in the future from your point of view.
Another great topic would life in the past, you can interview some Senior citizens and they can tell you the changes that have been made in your town or city.
