If the cosigner of a loan dies does the borrower still have to pay?

Of course! they mainly look at the borrower first.. for payment.. if the borrower is not reached then the co-signer is next... thats like asking if the vice president died.. would the president still be in office...

Absolutely. Creditors are able to go after anyone named on the loan.
