it's not necessary. But if you want to slide a sausage inside more than once or twice, it certainly makes the process a lot easier...and more enjoyable.

depends if we are talkin hot dogs ballpark franks bratwerst footlong hot dogs or italian sausage think u need to b more specific not all need the buns warmed
