Why did all the religious crap happen thousands of years ago ? surely god notices the world is changing and needs to have additions to the Bible, to say address global warming and overpopulation.

Who says he doesn't? God IS missing, indeed. But he's missing from the hearts of people who consider him irrelevant today.

BTW, the Bible does address global warming indirectly. At Revelation 11:18 God promises to "bring to ruin those ruining the earth."

Your question makes me grin. Just so you know - religious "crap" as you put it - or "GOD stuff" as I put it. Is still happening everyday. Have you seen a toddler walk anytime recently? How about a sunset? Has a store clerk been especially nice to you? Well that's all GOD - and those things happen everyday.

And I found it a little funny that you think the Bible is the only book that God should be concerned about. We're all one - and there is only one God - and if It was going to be concerned about the holy books - I'm sure It would consider all of them. But I don't think that's how God works.

Do you feel compassion in your heart? That's God - and that compassion can be used to work on the global warming. Do you know that you have a fabulous brain - that can be used to THINK through problems? Well - again - that's God - and we can use our brains to figure out a solution to overpopulation. We have everything we need. God is our source!!

I truly believe that God does still exist - and I see It everyday!

Namaste!

Mainly Because "God" Needs Man In Order To Exist. Anyway, Who Says This Unseen God Ever Existed? Lets Be Real The Only Proof Of This Being Is In The Books ( Bible Koran, Torah) About Him ,Or Her For That Matter, And When You Ask Someone To Comment On "God" Without Using Information Written In One Of These Books They Find It Extremely Difficult. Not To Mention The Very Books Themselves Often Contradict Themselves (i.e. Why Would God Need To Test Humans If He Is OmniScient or All Knowing? Wouldn't That Mean He Already Knows Whos Bad Or Good Like Santa Claus???

Jesus IS alive and you can receive Him if you ask in faith. What you need to realise is that Satan is the ruler of this world through the sins of the people in it. 2Cor 4:4. All the lies and deception come from satan. Global warming and overpopulation are addressed in the Bible. If you ask God for the Holy Spirit He will give it to you and you will be able to understand the Bible. For example, global warming is natural to the Earth, it is not man made. The world is changing because Jesus is coming very soon and the world is naturally changing itself in preparation.

Everything is in the Bible but Satan has deceived people to think that the Bible is ancient and out of date but the Bible is up to date and current and actually will tell the Holy Spirit Chrisitan what is actually going to happen in the future.

Remember the Bible is alive and to understand it you need to have help from the Holy Spirit. Ask Jesus to give it to you and He Will

I don't know about god, but God always has been and always will be. As for global warming as they call it and overpopulation, read the Book it tells all about it, and also tells us what to do about it. The problem is most of the world today is not reading or listening. Believe me it is going to get worse before it gets better. However there is a way to escape it all. Romans 10:9-13 tells you how.

Your question is logically flawed. It starts with the premise that God doesn't exist - something that can not be categorically proven on either side.

You also refer to "religious crap." This is a tactic better used to incite retaliation than promote genuine discussion.

First you ask why God doesn't exist, then you state that God should notice the trouble in the world. I realize this is intended as sarcasm, but it defeats the premise on which your original argument is founded. Also, the use of sarcasm is not intended to promote discussion, but rather incite retaliation.

Finally, trying not to start a riot here, but you state thate overpopulation and global warming are problems. This again is something that can not be categorically proven. You can present evidence on both sides of these issues, and you can draw inferefnces, but can not categorically prove either side of either of those arguments. To use them as a basis for the existence or non-existence of God is fallacious.

We don't know if "God" was someone we "made up" to have a leader/father or if he's really truly out there. I hate it that people can't have faith to believe him. Honestly, I don't know if he exists, but I guess one can only truly understand when your in need. On the other hand, for something to exist it has to be a physical being, and he's not, he's just there.

Furthermore, I know this world is going to the "sh*ts," but it's only because we make it like that, it's not his fault. There's a way to cure almost anything, we just lack the knowledge or procrastinate or hate too much to do anything about it. " We don't like helping each other!"

Moreover, keep this in mind: "It's nice to know that someone is there to carrying you along, when it seems everyone else has left you behind." I guess no one will understand that, until there are down one day & want to quit it all!

Life has many obstacles & if we would open our eyes to see, instead of opening it to hate or be oblivious to the TRUTH right in front of us, then we are indeed the ones that need help. We need to find it in ourselves, to help out!

Don't seek, just know, have faith!

you delivers me all the load-of-data crap you want, however the nice and comfortable button is that for the period of this, organic and organic existence, no one can logically verify nor deny the existence of a God. proceed with the "you could not teach this... Burden of knowledge that." like it or not, it is the final analysis. God is an unfalsifiable and unjustifiable declare. you could rationalize and supply me the "burden of knowledge" argument, and you will rationalize and are available to the top that there is not a God, yet you could not understand for specific. there's a distinction between rationalizing and understanding. additionally, if there's a God (the existence of whom you could not verify or deny) then a all-powerful, omniscient being (acceptable) renders human (imperfect) suggestions of rationality and good judgment completely ineffective. and because we will not understand if there's a God, we will not understand if our suggestions of rationality and good judgment (and reasoning) are, satirically, rational.

He doesn't exist any more because we don't need him any more. We made him up when we needed him and now we're on our own. We'd better not wait for Him to address global warming and overpopulation.

God exists in many forms. We have been given the gift of free agency to act and react how we will to the situations that are placed before us. It is the way we react that shows God what we are made of. Many will try to force others to believe in their own brand of religion, but it is what you feel and see inside yourself that dictates your relationship to God. Choose your own path and see that God is all around you. It is man that has created the evil that we see around us. It is man that causes the pain. God has given us the freedom to make choices; good or bad. How we exercise that freedom is up to us.
