The Tax Book 2006 says:
2006 standard deduction
Single or Married Filing seperate $5150
Married Joint $10300
Head of household $7550
Additional amounts for age 65 or older, or blind, per person, per event:
Married joint, qualifing widower, or married seperate $1000
Single or head of household $1250
That would make your standard deduction $12300
