i am going to MEPS tomorrow for the navy. i am not going to meet their weight expectations but my recruiter knows that. so they take a measurment of my neck and waist and subtract the neck from the waist. all in all i am about a 1/2 inch to much. is there any way i can pass by tomorrow?

Although you can follow the advice above to decrease your weight quickly, it's the body fat you are trying to get rid of - and that literally does not happen overnight. The tummy/waist cinching underwear would work, as it's only half an inch, but don't you need to strip off for them to measure you? If so, that won't help either.

Have you discussed this further with your recruiter, as to what your options are? Would they make an allowance for half an inch as long as you are 100% fit and score highly in all other physical tests?

A few years back, a boyfriend of mine wanted to join the RAF as a pilot, but his arms were something like an inch below the required length! He did get in, so if the Navy makes similar allowances, all is not lost!

I don't think that is possible.
You could try working out for about 2 hours.

Try eating as light as possible today. I had a friend who's husband had to drop about 10 pounds in 4 days. He ate a healthy big breakfast, 1/2 can of tuna for lunch and the other 1/2 can of tuna for dinner. Then ran for an hour at night. He reach the weight loss needed.

Well, darn it. Why did you wait 'til the last minute to get into the shape you need to be in? If you were a small person, I'd say drink at least 8 cups of water today, no salt today, and take a Gas-X in the morning. But if you've got a roll of fat around your middle, nothing is going to budge it 1/2 inch. It would probably be easier to add thickness to your neck! ;)

This may sound silly, but I knew this girl that couldn't fit into her prom dress, so she wrapped herself in saran wrap for a day. The plastic makes you sweat. It actually worked! I think she lost 1/2 inch to an inch. My sister had to get into the air force, but I think they were going by weight. She drank a liquid laxative; I don't know if that would help with inches. Also if you go to a sauna right beforehand then you will sweat off water weight and appear smaller until you drink more water.

this is a reasonably super difference to make in one week... i do no longer think of that it could be achieveable to lose that, except it is fullyyt fluid mass... wherein case, that's going to be decrease back on the subsequent time you drink an amazing quantity of water. are you able to placed on a school-gown rather until you lose a touch of weight steadily?? Or a skirt? in any different case, you could purely could settle for being a touch uncomfortable for some weeks until your pants in superb condition slightly extra appropriate lower back. All that i will advise is a few mild aerobic artwork (walking, bike driving, etc.) and scaling down on sugary meals and meals severe in saturated fat. you do no longer could be a nazi approximately it, yet purely decide for fit possibilities the place you could.

SERIOUS... Buy some Preparation H, put it all over your waist area, and wrap in saran wrap, sleep in it... It's only a temporary fix, but it works.

I suggest wearing some type of firm wast cinching shape-ware, but that will only work if they measure you with your clothes on. Good luck.

Um, if it's body fat, not really I'm afraid - you can make yourself lighter but body fat is harder to shift. The only thing I could suggest is control shapewear that holds you in, but that's only helpful if they measure you with clothes on.

Good luck.
