but she's very racist towards black people. It makes me very uncomfortable, because I obviously am not racist at all. How can I stop her?

It is kind of disowning of herself on an almost intimate level in my opinion. Plus you know obviously people are people. It does not matter what their race is. I would start with a basic conversation and bring up some very prominent Black Americans that have led to the changes that make it even possible for you to date, like Martin Luther King. I mean there are wonderful people of all races in the world, and some pretty horrible ones as well. In my opinion she does have the right to say what she wishes, but you have the right to set healthy boundries for yourself. Maybe just tell her that it makes you uncomfortable to talk badly about anyone..and keep gently reminding her of that, and do not contribute to her comments. Eventually the comments will become minimal. You may not be able to change her opinion but you do not need to contribute or deny her feelings either. Just do not let it get to be a battle between you two. She must over time work through this on her own.

This is something which will take time to stop. I feel my g/f does not like blacks, she's white, but she is very religious. So I find someone who is black attending church and then point them out to my girlfriend and ask her, do you really think blacks are all bad?
Another suggestion would be to get a friend who is black and introduce them to her.
Another suggestion, have black people you know do random acts of kindness so she see's that not all blacks are bad

haha, it's the vice versa with you two. well, maybe she's from Hati and she hates African Americans. I have a friend like that. or she's just pretending to get your loving. if she really is a racists, it's going to be hard to get her out of it. i guess the first thing to do to start off is to tell her to stop for you. and well if she's pretending, tell her not to. tell her that it make you feel uncomfortable.
talk to her first, find out if she really hates. and you can try and go from there.

I would talk to her to make her realize that ..thats her own culture.I mean honestly im dating a white girl and im pretty much racist against blacks and that just a matter of oppinnon of how we grew up around them.

thats weird... if shes black and is a racist with black people... it means she doesnt like herself... because shes black too and she cant change that.... but u can change ur girlfriend....

I think she subconsciously wants to make sure you don't see her as like how she perceives or thinks your people perceives blacks. She must really like you.

If that's who she is, you're not going to stop her. There must be some reason she feels that way. Maybe she knows more than you and is trying to change you. Would you change for her? If not, why should she change for you?
