I got out of the ARMY almost 1 year ago. I shaved my head while I was in. Now my hair is only chin length, and it used to be very long. I want it back...lol.

Unfortunately, you can't force your body to grow hair quickly.
Since you like long hair, you'll probally always wear long styles.
Why not get some fun cuts while your hair is growing out? You don't have to hate your hair just because it's chin length. Also, you don't have to remove a lot of length to get a nice shape.
The #1 thing I hear from my clients who are growing their hair is that they never thought they would like the process. That's the difference in a good cut & just growing it out.

I don't know if I should believe you. The Army has regulations against female soldiers wearing their hair too short. Too bad. I think it's a sensational look, and I wish you'd go back to it!

As for your question, it gets asked several times a day, every single day. NO. There is no way to make your hair grow faster.

Shave it off!

Vitamins are essential for proper hair growth. For healthy sebum in the scalp we require vitamin A. Graying and loss of hair is arrested with the intake of Vitamin B6 and B12. Keratin is produced by Biotin and hair follicles are kept healthy by inositol. Panthothenic acid and Para-amino benzoic acids are also beneficial. These vitamins are present in fruits such as lemon, pineapple and strawberry and in vegetables such as potato.

yeh! if your that type of person who has to flat iron her hair everyday. STOP WITH THE HEAT! from personal experiance heat makes the hair unhealthy. Just dont use so many chemicals such as gel, spritz, etc. Your hair should be growing in no time.

You can try taking prenatal vitamins. They are safe for people who aren't pregnant. Every woman I know who has ever been pregnant noticed that their hair and nails grew faster while they took the vitamins. Also, you can add more protein and healthy fat to your diet- salmon, sunflower seeds, stuff like that.

Have you thought about hair extensions? They're a few hundred dollars, but if you're really missing your hair, extensions could keep you company while you wait for it to come back!
