I feed my dogs variations of Purina One formula--hard food. I did not see any Purina products on the list. Most of them were off brands but there were a few surprises: Eucanuba and Iams.

It is not on the list of recalled foods but this food is disgusting and a really low quality food. Purina dog food should never be fed to pets...recalled or not because it is made from questionable ingredients that are not fit for human or animal consumption. Hopefully this recall scare will wake people to understand that feeding these low quality foods is dangerous for your pets health.

If the food is not on this list, go ahead and give it to your dog. Also, go ahead and check the numbers on the can too. And where the distribution is. If you are really unsure, check out the purina website, or even call the 1-800# on the can/bag. They can definately tell you if it is safe or not.
