We caused poverty...not Him.

God is not obligated to answer any of our prayers.....He is sovereign and holy and can do what He wants.

Okay...Let's analyze this shall we. According to the Christian faith God has given you free will. In my opinion that means that God has let us live our own lives without him being there to control things. He's not a Geenie who will pop out of a bottle and grant your wishes. Now that doesn't neccessarily mean that he wont be there for you in a pinch. But you'll often find that you don't and can't always get what you want regardless of how hard you pray. Now does that mean God doesn't have a plan for you? Or can it possibly mean you have to learn life's lessons on your own. I don't know, but I can assure you that if you say a favor is petty it probably means that it's not worth praying for.... But I can only assume. I believe that God is there to give you what you need when you need it, and you probably don't even relaize it. But I also believe God will let you fall and let you get hurt, only to make you stronger. My friend our pain and our losses are what defines us. How we deal with life on our own, without an all powerful God to watch over us and control every move we make, is how we become strong adults. So if you pray to God for a small favor now and then... make sure that he knows you love him regardless of whether or not her answers the prayer. :)

If you'll notice the nations that are living in poverty are Godless nations. Just because I pray to God don't mean God is going to give me everything I ask for. God answers prayers in His time and in His own way.
When America turns it's back on God, God will turn it's back on America.

God can end poverty but He would also be taking away our free will by doing so. Why do people ask "Why doesn't God intervene?", when they already know our free will will be taken? And if God fixed everything for us then, how can we learn to think and fend for ourselves? What kind of people would we be if we were constantly helpless? How can we ever consciously and spiritually evolve if we never take action on our own? Ever hear the expression, "God helps those who help themselves."? The only way God can help us is if WE take action and then God will work through us because He is in us.

God can end world poverty, He just doesn't do it. It is part of his plan. Did you ever think that every bad thing in our world and our lives COULD be caused by Satan? When Adam and Eve sinned and ate from the tree, which they were not supposed to eat from, man fell and then sin started. Bad things can happen because maybe God is testing us to see if we are worthy of HIm.

God is not responsible for poverty. People are. People who abuse innocent kids and deprive people of what they need will be accounted for in the day of judgement.

God cannot stand in the way of peoples agency. The guy above is wrong or miss informed. God is God but he cannot do whatever he wants he is bound by his own laws. We are here to learn and be judged.

Dont be misslead by one particular issue. It requires obediance to Gods laws and commandments to learn of his mysteries and maybe personal ?'s that you have.

You cannot pretent to know how God blesses other people. You have to gain your own testimony. It is a personal thing.

I have once heard if you do not have one lean on another faithful persons for a day and wait for yours.

Good Luck

Well for those less fortunate to have an ounce of intelligence in there skull, you being one. It all depends on what you believe. If this, if that, what if that. why did he let this happen and this. He didn't let world poverty happen, the government did. We allow it, not him. As for other unfortunate things that happen, some things are just meant to be and others are things that we did to ourselves. Regardless god gave us the gift of free agency and he allows us to do what we will, with that, we also have to suffer the consequences.

God gave us the option to ask for what we want. Is a matter of choice. Some are happy with their present level. The best prayer is for God to position us to be at the right place at the right time to meet with the right people for the right purpose. That is divine connection. If everyone were to be rich, no one will commune with God.

many of the worlds countries that suffer from serious poverty are nations that worship false gods and not the one and true GOD, yet Gods mercy falls upon them and he allows them to live.

Its not up to God to do anything for us. It is up to us to do these things thereby showing God how good we are. He gave us this world. We messed it up, we created all the problems so it is up to us to straighten them out.

God has the ability to end poverty, He just doesn't because it's in His plan to allow it.

I don't know, I guess you pray for yourself to show God that you know He's in charge and that He's the guy who solves problems. Pray to Him to make it in His plan to find your car keys or whatever.
