The reason i ask is because the guy that i just got out of a bad relationship with blaims it on me.

Because that is human nature. From a different perspective it may seem that women always blame their problems on men. Maybe it was a mutual problem and you both share some blame. I don't know, but I know that people don't usually want to take responsibility for their actions so it's easier to blame them on others.

In reality when a couple breaks up it is because some body has been thoughtless. Normally its the man. One day I am going to learn to over look that bad character trait in men! LOL

Immaturity.....failure to admit they arn't perfect.
After getting broken up with when I was 18, the guy decided he'd start telling people I MADE him quit smoking weed even though I never discussed my hatred tword it with him. I didn't want to force him to stop. But my friends had probably said something about my dislike and he DECIDED to stop for me with out me knowing. Yeah....then he decides to tell everyone I MADE him stop and then he started again after we broke up.
It's immaturity.

Guys like this want to look like the good guy and not ruin their reputation by making any other woman think that he really messed up.
