You wanna discuss evolution, go discuss it with the kids that are in College, in School, the ones who have worked themselves crazy just to get the grades they need so their mom and dad won't kick em out on tha street. Or the academics who have travelled across the world twice and held the proof in their hands. Evolution exists as accepted theory today. It's not a political, philosophical or a religious question.

Now, can someone please tell me why we are asking rhetorical questions about science to crusty old men and women who are taking the Lord's Word far too literally?

You're out of touch. Science is the religion of this millenium.

Hunny,
I am for sure that Jesus (if he were to get on Yahoo) would not deny people the right to talk about their opinions on a website especially considering the fact that it is NOT A CHRISTIAN SITE! This site is made for and welcomes all religions and races not just christians and it doesn't limit who can talk on it by labeling it RELIGION. Jesus would also not call people "crusty old men and women". He would LOVE THEM no matter what. After all, he did and still does. So, people take God's Word too literally, do you really think posting this question is really going to change anyone's mind about God? I didn't think so. Get off you high horse and LOVE PEOPLE!!!

Don't get me wrong, I am a christian. I am concerned that We get caught up in all this evolution vs. creation thing that we lose sight of what it's all about: God.

Here's the problem, J. We're trying to do our science thing but everyone in the religious groups is preventing us from achieving what humanity needs. So how about this: science will stop bothering Christianity when Christianity stops bothering science.

I used to be in the science and mathmatics area untill i got tired of all the christians coming in and answering serious science questions with answers like “because that’s how god wanted it” or “its gods will” or, one of my favorites, “open a bible idiot all the answers are there”

So I came here to do the same. If your “faith” can’t hold up to science than maybe you need to reexamine what you have “faith” in. And stop forcing your religion down everyone else’s throat
