How do you remove stuck-on carpet backing from a hard wood floor. It is the thing you out under a carpet.?

try scapping it off first then used wd-40 spray it and will come off easy

scrape, scrape, scrape. Just finished doing that job. You can rent a floor scraper on a long pole and do the job standing up.

You will have to scrape it off. Depending on how much is there you can rent a machine or scrape by hand.

good luck! its all labor work!! handpull the carpet. scrape the backing.
