i guess its like the saying,'to err is human; to forgive divine'..anyone can throw hateful words and remarks at people but it takes a lot of courage, willpower etc. to not to do the same; to ignore them all...it is not being the ruler of the world that makes a person great.which is exactly why people like Hitler and Mussolini are greatly condemned whereas great men like Prophet Muhammad(PBUH), Jesus(PBUH), Gandhi are still praised today even after all these years..

Well its because the world is sin. And the World will just get worse and worse. God cant save us from everything because we have FREE choice. And If we choose to not follow him and live in the world of sin and hatred, then thats why people are the way they are. Because they dont like themselves and find pleasure in sin.
