Absolutely not, a GED is looked at much lower than a high school diploma. A diploma means that someone has the ability to finish what they start, desipte any difficulties. A GED says this person is a quitter, regardless of the conditions. In a head to head, i've left GED folks behind everytime.

Well you can just say you've completed high school on your diploma, I don't see why you'd have to disclose.

However keep in mind that if you only have a few credits that you need you can just take them, if you find a good adult learning centre they usually do correspondence and you can get the credits in no time. You can also apply for maturity credits depending on your age.

I'm personally doing this, though I turned down the maturity credits as I wish to make sure to get everything on my own.

Diploma.

If you have a GED and go to College then it doesn't matter.
