Depends on what you want them for. A car doesn't lick your hand. But you can't ride in a dog. Reminds me of the old joke.

A car is better.
With a car, you can have a few dogs inside, you can drive to see more dogs.
With a dog, you only has a dog. that's. no fun.

Both are great < if you mean a caT and dog > but you cant keep a dog with you in bed if you like a pet to keep on your legs and hug and be more emotional with it , cat would be great
Dog is good for walks , if you want to play with a ball or that flying thing i dont know what they call , and it is good to keep inside when it is cold infront of the heater , it will park when someone come nearby , it is great , but i prefer cats !
notice that cats arent as much loyal as dogs

A little doggy of course! Dogs dont harm the environment or pollute the atmosphere with carbon dioxide like cars do and they give you lots of love and affection! (usually)
