My dog died from eating tainted food that should have been recalled a long time ago. Sandy died a horrible death after living w/her for 10yrs. and I still mourn her. I want someone to answer for this, don't you?

Iams specifically asked pet owners to hold on to their veterinary bills. I will try to find the link. You should contact a lawyer and ask about the class action lawsuit. That's all you can do.

Iams are the ones that hid the information, I don't know if Menu foods did anything that would qualify as cruelty or lying. Yes, someone has to pay for this.

The more people jump in, the better. Talk to your vet and a lawyer.

I believe a lawsuit will not happen. I work for a comapny who sells Eukanuba, Iams, Nutro, and all the other foods that were on that recall list. My foods were not on the matching LOT as the tainted foods, but we still pulled all of our canned dog/cat food and all of the pouched food. Just to be safe. I am sorry for your loss.

A class action law suit has got to be in the works. Already one woman here in CT. has filed a law suit against Menu Foods. I suggest you keep all material that you think is important to the death of your dog and keep reading and listening to the news.

By the way the woman here in CT. also said that she tried for days to get through to menu foods by phone and no one answered her calls. The phone was never picked up.

Yea I went to both walmart and hyvee yesterday and they still had a bunch of that canned food on the shelves. I wonder why they didn't take it off. If my pets died and I paid a bunch of money to save them I would want some payback.

What is going on with that isnt a good thing but let me ask you this....was it cause of the food? After 10 years of life other things could have been going on as well. 1 year of our life is 7 years to them which made your baby 70 years old. Other problems could have been going on. It is a sad thing when we lose our pets. They are just like kids to us. I am sorry about your loss.
