Grilled cheese sandwich with ham in it. Hey, my husband and I like it, so why not? Usually with chips as the vegetable side dish :)

Staple meals I cook regularly are Chili con carne (with rice, jacket pot, tacos etc), Spag Bol, grilled fish (normally haddock) with veg, sausage and mash (with veg) and roast dinner (normally chicken, free range), with all the trimmings. I try to alternate the meals I eat, but I cook more than 4 times a week and I don't repeat the same meal in 1 week!!

Roast dinner every Sunday,
pasta once or twice a week,
chicken with rice,
home made beefburgers
home made cheese and bacon flan,
home made curry,
home made pie,
i try and not cook the same meal twice in one week, and i do a lot of home made cooking.
Fresh vegtables at least 4 times a week.
We also have a lot of fruit aswell.

sadly i will eat the same thing day in day out.
veggie stew, any veg i fancy, cut in2 similar sizes & add 1 tin of vegetable soup. cook in the microwave, low setting 4 half-hour.
yummy
& 4 afters
sliced apples/pears & i add some frozen fruit that i feel like, raspberries or blackberries usually
cook in the micro, 6 mins on high, put a dollop of bio yoghurt on top & that's my dinner taken care of.
only variation is i may have a baked potato.
i cannot understand why people eat junk food.

I make lots of different stews, though rarely the traditional kind.
They are easy, they can cook while im doing something else and there are always enough leftovers to make another meal.

Mainly i use chicken, though sometimes beef or fish and i add different spices and herbs and veges depending on where the meal originates

Greek, north african, mexican, spanish, curries.......blah blah.....and i make traditional irish stew when the folks are over.

Sheppard's pie and spaghetti those are the ones i make the most although i would love to flex my chef abilities and whip up some veal piccada for my family they have no appreciation for the finer things in life and prefer good old comfort food which impedes my attempt at being the perfect stepford wife i blame my husband for that

My wife and I like stir fried chicken with peppers, garlic, mushrooms, onions, tinned tomatoes blended into a puree. Cook all of the above until they to your taste then add concentrated mushroom soup and warm throught. Serve on herbed rice. Its lush and healthy and a beautiful pink colour. It only takes about 15 minutes to do.
