If your child does ingest medicine:

* Stay calm and try not to upset your child.
* Take the medication away from your child.
* Notice whether your child is dizzy or losing consciousness.
>>If your child is already unconscious, take him or her to the emergency room or call 911 immediately<<
* If your child is not unconscious and doesn't appear to be dizzy or losing consciousness, call the poison control center at 1-800-222-1222 for instructions.

Note that the American Academy of Pediatrics no longer recommends keeping a bottle of ipecac syrup in your home or using ipecac syrup in cases of accidental poisoning. Instead contact your local poison control center and follow their instructions.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

There are so many different kinds of BP meds--the best thing to do is call poison control so they can tell you about the one ingested. Call from your cell phone on the way to the ER. Some BP meds slow heart rate, and others work in various ways to drop blood pressure. Extremely low blood pressure can make someone pass out and need life-supporting medications until the drug wears off.

You should immediately take this child to the hospital. Blood pressure medicine is dangerous for a child or anyone that does not have hypertension(high blood pressure)

One pill would probably do no harm. A large dose would drop BP
