i'm getting blank page in'add/remove' with win xp?

This is a common problem with add/remove programs in windows xp. When it's finished populating the list scroll down using the scroll bar on the right hand side and you'll notice all your programs are down the bottom of the list, the upper 80% is blank.

Sometimes you find you can only see programs beginning with A at the top of the list, then there's a huge gap, and B-Z is at the bottom....

that's strange... make sure you wait until it stops saying 'please wait while the list is being populated' until you say it's empty.. it can take a few seconds.. :)
