Unfortunately, the person who make that statement is trying to establish their own righteousness rather than depending on the blood of Jesus. This statement reminded me of the Pharisees and the teacher of law. By saying they have less sins means that they are still following the law. On judgement day, God will also use the law to judge them. For those to depend on Jesus's finished work, God will judge them based on Jesus.

By even saying there are sins in us right now is a insult to the finished work of Jesus. Jesus died to cleanse us of our sins once and for all. What does this mean? It means our past, present and even further sins has been cleansed once and for all! There is no such things as whose sins are lesser. All of us who has a repentence heart and believed in Jesus' work are going to heaven. What matters is not your action. Is your heart.

All sins are sins. One goes to heaven if one accepts Jesus Christ as savior and repents of sins. Find out why they say that. Maybe they are saved? A saved person is still a sinner but tries hard not to and when they do, ask for forgiveness. Or maybe they think that lying is not as bad a stealing?

No body's sin is any less or more than any other person's. The question of Heaven isn't how much you sin or the good things you do, it has to do with the choice of whether or not you choose to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Everyone has a chance to go to Heaven, but they can't go unless they accept the Father and Son.

I've never met anyone who told me that I will end up in hell. But sometimes I think myself that I might. Because I know myself, my past, my thoughts. I'm a sinner. I can always do better. I am lazy and suffer from gluttony. My sloth and gluttony and get me to hell just as much as Jeff Dahmer's raping, killing and eating 17 young men can or Saddam's killing thousands of innocent people. A sin is a sin. No sin is bigger or lesser than another. I know there are venial and moral sins. But all sins need to be forgiven by Jesus Christ in order for one to have salvation. People that think that way you mentioned are mislead and are the ones that like to take from the Bible that suits them and leave the rest alone.

Well generally, most of us know that there is NO one who is perfect. Everyone sins....doesn't matter what it is, it's a sin against God and his laws. But, thankfully, Jesus died on the cross to save our sins, not certain ones...ALL of them. If you accept Jesus into your heart and ask forgiveness, you will go to Heaven too, period. Anyone who thinks otherwise is incorrect....it's in the Bible. No sinner is better than another. God will be the judge not them. It's not up to them to judge who will or won't go to Heaven.

Pride , Ignorance .. Romans 3:23 " For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God ". If you don't admit you are a sinner ( to God , not a priest ) and ask for forgiveness and accept Jesus as your savior. Romans 10:13 " For who soever call upon the name of the Lord will be saved ".

I follow the Three fold path.

Right Thought
Right Words
and Right Deeds

If you don't follow this you and Abstain from the Five sins, then you Will Go to hell.
[But thankfully God will only send you there to be purified, and after the Savior comes he will remove you from hell so you can be reunited with God]

Hi, Jo A:

It is easier to condemn others than ask God to reveal our own defects. Jesus said those who are faithful in the little things are faithful in much.

Judas thought he was the smartest Disciple, but he was pilfering the purse. This self-excused practice led to Christ's betrayal.

Truly Jeremiah was correct when he said: The heart [is] deceitful above all [things], and desperately wicked: who can know it? (Jer. 17:9)

Blessings, One Way

P.S.: The whole world (except the elect) are to be deceived--that means they think they have it together. One remedy is posted at www.revelado.org/666.htm

Pride. Thinking that not only are their sins worth less attention than someone else's, but also thinking that they are clean enough to have the right to judge others. (Ironic, too. Pride is a DEADLY sin.)

The lord will look at all sins with the same degree.they will still have consequences for their actions no matter how small.
Arrogance, they need to be a little more humble don't you think?
