Many respected meteorologists are saying that global warming is a political issue more than a scientific one. Al Gore first said he invented the internet now he is an expert on global warming. He is a politician, not a scientist. I am a scientist and when I look at all the facts, I am not convinced that this latest craze is as critical as Gore and his other political cronies make it out to be. I also believe no one or 2 countries can make a difference anyway. I heard that >50% of the smog in LA comes from Chinese factories half a world away. Many nations still use DDT and other chlorinated hydrocarbons as pesticides, and they are not being blamed by Mr. Gore.

I think the skepticism is from the fact that if there is global warming then it is a natural cycle rather than the burning of fossil fuels. I am listing some prominent scientists who either believe that global warming is a myth or believe it is a natural cycle. Ian Clark, Univ. of Ottawa, MR Morgan, climate consultant for the UK, George Taylor, Oregon State Univ. and president of the Am. Assn. of Atmospheric Science, Patrick Michael , Univ. of Virginia, Dr. Fred Singer of the National Weather Service, and James Spann of ABC Weather. There are too many skeptics to discount their beliefs rather than accepting everything blindly as truth.
