If I were to ask you where did your computer come from, how would you answer? From the store, maybe. But it doesn't end there, let us not forget the factory, the designer, the inventor, . . . But what about all its components and their inventors? And what about the sub-components and raw material and their inventors? Man cannot create anything. They can only design/invent based on what is already in existence. The heart of the matter is that God created all things from whence we invent.
God is a good enough answer.

Genisis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness (Body, mind, and spirit - not physically): and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Genisis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

We come from God, whether that is a good enough answer for you or not is irrelevant, that's where we come from, if you really have to know the place that we wait just before coming here is called the Duff.

The definition of the soul depends on what you want to believe. The bible says God formed Adam from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils and be became a living soul.
dust(flesh) + breath(spirit) =soul

Life, spirit, soul or whatever you want to call it comes from the interaction between the physical components that make us up.

Depends on what you believe. I believe that we all are part of what I refer to as a "universe god collective". I believe that this is a collection of souls that inhibit a place together as a collective.
When we die we join the universe god collective and we essentially become god with others. We all do it together. When we are reincarnated we go back to earth to learn lesson that our soul needs to learn in order to develop further.

That's good enough!
Have you:
Created a private, personal, direct, divine Relationship with Our Creator and save your Soul from religion.
Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!
Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!

Life comes from evolution and you are just a chemical and electrical reaction. Most of the rest of that, science has looked for it and it isn't there. The soul is imaginary.
