You all are so funny. You can mock. You can laugh. You can adress what you want to adress. For no matter what you adress. It will happen. 1 minute your famil member's will be thier, the next they will be gone. Then who are you going to mock. Ahh yes Lucifer! {You closet friend} In Matthew {true} it does say nobody know the hour not even the angels nor the son. BUT ARE YOU ALL SO BLIND BY YOUR OWN SELFISHNESS THAT YOU DO NOT SEE WHAT IS GOING ON AROUND YOU. OR DO YOU ONLY PSAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU WHAT TO PAY ATTENTION. OR DO YOU THINK THAT IS HOW WE ARE, BECAUSE WERE NOT. GOD HEAL'S {EVERYDAY IN FACT} So why not stop being so haughty. And give yourself to God. What do you got to lose? Wait! What don't you got to lose if you don't? I mean either way you might be losing a life and right now to me seem like all of you are struglling. {Money craving" Fean's} And if you call that a life then ok. But theier is a better life on the other side just to let you know. See you all later!

Just as in Noah's day, the wicked were destroyed, but not the earth. Jesus spoke of Noah's day being the same as the last days at Matt 24: 36-39

The earth will not be destroyed:
Ecc. 1: 4 "A generation is going, and a generation is coming; but the earth is standing even to time indefinite."

God will destroy those ruining the earth:
Rev. 11:18 "...bring to ruin those ruining the earth."

God will set up his kingdom that will last forever:
Dan. 2: 44 "And in the days of those kings the God of Heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will nto be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinate."

This is the kingdom we pray for in the Lords Prayer Matt 6: 9 & 10 "Let your kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven..."

The blessings of this kingdom will be:
Ps 37: 10 & 11 & 29 " And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more, and you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it."

Isaiah 11: 6 - 9 "And the wolf will actually reside for a while with the male lamb, and the kid the leopard itself willlie down, and the calf and the maned young lion and the well-fed animal all together, and a mere little boy will be leader over them. And the cow and the bear thesleves will feed; together their young ones will lie down. And even the lion will eat straw just like the bull. And the sucking child will certainly play upon the whole of the cobra, and upon the light aperture of a poisonous snake will a weaned child actually put his own hand. They will not do any harm or cause any ruin in all my holy mountain, because the earth will certainly be filled withthe knowledge of Jehovah as the waters are covering the very sea."

Rev. 21: 3 & 4 "....And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

John 5: 28 & 29 "Do not marvel at this, the hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.."

This is not doomsday for mankind, but for those seeking rightousness, it will be a day to rejoice. We know we can depend on God's Word as Isaiah 55: 11 states: "so my word that goes forth from my mouth will prove to be. It will not return to me without results, but it will certainly do that in which I have delighted, and it will have certain success in that which I have sent it."

I have the same worry. I heard that the world will change dramatically on December 23 2012. Not exactly is it going to end on that date but something out of the ordinary that's for sure. My best guess is that it has to be related to God or to an alien visit. Who knows just live like there is no tomorrow!

Yes, it's true, but neither of us will be here to see it. The world will be destroyed when God and Satan duke it out, which, if the rapture were to take place today, would be at least another 1007 years. Following the rapture is a 7 year Tribulation period when the anti-Christ hits the scene and afterward, 1000 year reign. Afterward, God and Satan duke it out. The earth and part of Heaven are destroyed. God banishes Satan into the abyss and rebuilds earth as well as Heaven.

The folks at Family Radio believe the Final Judgment and Second Coming of Christ will be in the fall of 2011.

For example see the book “Time Has an End” on line at:
http://www.timehasanend.org/public/en_time_has_an_end_cont.html

This group, whose primary teacher is one Harold Camping, also believes the Church Age has ended in 1988 and believers are to come out of the churches as they are now under the control of malevolent forces now that the Tribulation has begun.

See the book Time Has an End, Ch. 10:
http://www.timehasanend.org/public/en_time_has_an_end_ch10.html

That said, the online audio lectures at Family Radio, are illuminating and worth a listen:
See: http://worldwide.familyradio.org/zusa/english/connect/audio_archive/echoes/frame/download/download.html

Finally, for the offline version of the Family Radio nightly call in show, where folks ask questions about the bible to Mr. Camping, see:
http://worldwide.familyradio.org/zusa/english/connect/audio_archive/forum/frame/

I am not endorsing Family Radio’s doctrines, but one is able to learn quite a bit by listening to these materials.

The world comes to an end for hundreds of thousands of people every single day. The end of civilization has been predicted hundreds of thousands of times. The last big end of the world date I remember was the year 2000. Also, California is supposed to be under water right now due to a devastating earthquake that never happened. Just be thankful every day and don't worry.

The world has been on the verge of ending since the first paleolithic mind perceived its own inevitable death. Each of us knows the world only by means of neurological activity in the brain. Each of knows that we will die. Our death then is the death of a world, and when we look at our death we see the world dying with us.

Here are a few other predictions of the end of the world:

I have always believed that stories of the End of the World were metaphorical and referred to the end of a world order or societal structure.

For example, the Roman Empire most certainly experienced an end to their world, did they not?

Yes, at some point and time. Only God knows when that time is. Read the Left Behind series (based on Revelations). It's written in todays times and is a really good explanation of Revelations in easier words to understand. It may end in our lifetime, it may not. At some point, God will be back to set up his reign on earth. Some believe it some do not. God will Rapture his church first, there will be a time period given for the anti-christ to try to take souls and this is also a second chance for non-believers to accept Christ. Then God will return to earth to set up his reign. We all need to be ready!
