First the piddly stuff - if you give $10 because it's all you have, then you have given 100%. If the person next to you gives $10 and has $1000 left, they've only given 1% .... are you getting this? In God's eye, it's not the amount that matters, it's that in your heart you gave 100% of what you have :)
You say you know you are supposed to believe .... which means you do not really believe. If you have faith that your breakthrough is coming, why are you depressed? Get yourself up and start dancing! Sing to God His glory and thank Him in advance for once again saving you. Thank Him for your life. Go around saying uplifting verses to yourself to confirm this faith in your breakthrough with your finances.
Oh, and you are not a faithless Christian, you just need some skills in how to conduct yourself. Try watching some of Joel Osteen's messages, he's not the greatest on theology but can help give you the boost to your faith that you need right now :)

God is there, he may help but u must help yourself first. U being on the receiving end, do your planning well between your studies and the work. U can earn only if u work, so plan some time for the work. Being a man, don't get into depression or too much worry. U are not faithless or of low faith, but instead of putting too much faith in god, put some faith in yourself and work hard.

I am almost in the same situation as you. Still trusting in God for my breakthrough. I suggest to find a verse in the bible and mediate on it. Hold on fast and have faith that God will bring it to pass.
"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, yet evidence of things not found." Hebrew 11:1
"Therefore I say to you, all things, whatever you ask, praying, believe tat you shall received them and it will to you" Mark 11:24
"Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added onto you." Matthew 6:33
All these verses are the ones which I holding fast to. Hope it helps.

Many readers probably feel the same way you do, and I often get e-mails like yours. But God doesn't want our faith to be shaky and weak, and He wants to help us become strong in our faith. The Apostle Paul's prayer applies to us: "I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you" (Ephesians 3:16).
How can our faith become strong? Let me point out three ways. First, be sure of your commitment to Christ. Is your faith in Jesus Christ and what He did for you by dying on the cross for your sins? Sometimes a person's faith is weak because he or she has never clearly taken this step of commitment. By a simple prayer of faith ask Christ to come into your life today—and He will.
Second, build your faith on the truth of God's Word, the Bible. The Bible is spiritual "food" given by God to strengthen us in our faith. Through it we learn of God's love for us—but apart from it our faith will always be vague and uncertain. The Bible says, "Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ" (Romans 10:17).
Finally, draw strength from other believers. If you're not active in a church, ask God to lead you to one where Christ is preached and you will have opportunities to grow spiritually—not just in the weekly service, but through Bible studies and other programs.

are you one of Gods elect? because you cannot choose Christ, read for your self! it is by (grace) that you are saved, and this not of your self!- ie, not by works or mans goodness , for there is no good in man.-lest any man should boast, it is a gift from God!. go to the voice of truth.com or sermon audio.com and learn the truth!

Most of us atheists were there. It gets a lot easier after you are honest with yourself.
