Assuming you are located in the UK. I cannot tell you how to market it, but consider the following;

Contact your local 'Business Link', you should find them in the 'yellow pages'.

They should give you some 'free' impartial advice and guidance at first. They may then pass you on to others who (may) charge a fee for their advice or guidance, but this fee may be subsidised.

A word of warning. Ensure that ALL your meetings are confidential and they will not tell others of your design / invention. They should either sign a 'non-disclosure agreement' to that effect or give you some other paperwork regarding 'client confidentiality'. There are plenty of people out there looking to steal your interlectual property. To protect your design don't disclose details to others. Again, Business Link can advise you on this.

Lastly, best of luck.

I have the same problem.

The best that I have been able to come up with is that you must first have a patent search done to make sure you have no infringements. The lawyer told me this will cost about $30000.00.

There are websites that offer to do all of the work for the inventor but I dont know what their cut is. I think they would bear close watching. The one I contacted was so pushy that I finally told him to buzz off.

If I came up with a mechanical machine, I wouldn't ask you to market it, as you obviously don't know what to do...
