Ok, so, I did my normal one hour on the elliptical last night at the gym (have been doing this for 2 weeks, so, it's not like I just started) &, in the last 20 min I pumped up the resistance, so, now (this morning) the front of my thighs , as well as the rest of my legs, are wicked sore.

What can I do (besides taking tylenol) to reduce the soreness so that I will be able to work out tonight, instead of missing a day/workout?

(Oh, I have heard that potassium helps so I am eating a banana, but what else can I do?)

Its better to let your body rest, the muscle strands in your thighs ripped, and are making room for more, just rest up for one day, and get back at it tomorrow.

Stretching always helps me. Just grab the front of your ankle and lift your heel the the back of your butt, squeeze you knee in close to the other knee, it hurts, but it feels good.
