When I was a kid, I remember the preist telling everyone how to vote during his sermon, and every election, my mother dutifully obeyed.

The tele evangelist seem to put forward the idea that if the Democrats get into the white house the apocalypse will be upon us.

I know of one religion in Australia that pumps funds into our right wing consevative party and then tells the congragation they can't vote.

Dosn't all this interference sort of impinge on free will?

The idea was to keep big government out of church business and not have a government controlled or authored church, run by the government. Nothing in the Bill of Rights prevents religions of any denomination from participating in politics. Read the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Amendments of the Bill of Rights! If HB 254 passes, that is being sponsored by Sheila Jackson-Lee of Tx you could be fined, imprisoned, for what they deem to be politically incorrect speech! The law is very similar to the one already being enforced in Canada and Europe! That is not what the Constitution intended. Ministers a priests are free tosay whatever they want to their perspective congregations.

No, because the person in the pew can still make the decision to vote the way the priest or pastor said or to follow blindly. That, does not mean, however, that I think that the pulpit is an appropriate place to practice politics. I know how my pastor feels on the issues. I agree with him on some, disagree on others. But he has never said on the pulpit, vote this way. He preaches the Bible and tells us to vote our hearts.

religion = the Worse invention in humanity
politics = the 2nd Worse invention in humanity

the tele-evangelist is full of CRAP, just like any other person in religion!

Here's the Solution, even for very confused people like yourself:

Create a private, personal, direct, divine Relationship with Our Creator and save your Soul from religion.

Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!

"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ, Buddha and Me.

Let them just stick to regurgitating the pagan philosophy - they have trouble inventing new thoughts of their own
