White and Silver it think. Even though it may remind you of a Budweiser can.

Please don't just do red and white, so overdone and unoriginal, add some color-it will give you more decorating flexibility
I worked at a florist for 2 years, we did a thousand red and white weddings, I now hate them....but one bride took a chance and did the red roses with yellow daisies and deep purple status with a little white filler, it was stunning...she didn't have any lime green buttons like we suggested, but wished she did later. It really popped off her dress and complimented the bridesmaids that wore red very nicely!
anyway it would be a nice colorful twist on red and white that would turn out beautifully I promise!

You can pair it up with orange hues..to give u a fiery exotic look..but you have to be more selective where you use red. Like flowers or other accents.
You can use pinks and reds...again...just be selective of how you pair these colors.
Red and silver is very pretty...like red silver and black. Cool gray is very popular this year. Why dont you look in www.theknot.com. they have a color gallery which gives u ideas on how other brides have used red and other colors for their weddings. Hope this helps. happy planning!

There are a lot of options that go well with red. I, for example, am using red and as a bride I am leaning towards the metallic look of garnet, amethyst (purple) and gold. It also reminds me of sunset colors that also go nice together. Check out this link:
http://www.brides.com/weddingstyle/receptions/colorstudio/
and click on the red color family, and you just click and you will see different color combinations that are creative. Good luck and congratulations on your wedding!

I am a wedding planner and totally opposite colours are in right now. I have been seeing a lot of red and pink together.
When you choose the right shades it looks pretty cool actually.

We're doing mainly red with black and silver accents.
If you want to do red and white, do it. Do whatever you feel is best and what YOU like. If you really like the way something looks--then do it! Don't hesistate just because someone told you it's too overdone or whatever.

i think it depends on what style you are going for. Do you want more bright spring colors I would pick somethinf orange or if you want a more darker look black can be beautiful with red. Also certain shades of purple could go.
