Have people really seen them? How do they look? Where do they stay?

I've seen them. I encourage anyone who doesn't believe to spend a year in Okinawa. I saw some things there you wouldn't believe. Including waking up one morning to find a Marine standing above my bed. My room was flooded with light, and he was solid shadow. he stood over me for a moment, and then vanished. This happened twice. I also had some mischevios little spirits in my room, that would re-set my clock, hide my keys, turn things off and on, you know. I just asked them never to reset my clock on a work night (you cant just be "Late for work" in the AF without facing serious disciplinary action), and they never did.

That is question that is almost impossible to answer. I could tell you that --- Yes they do exist, I saw one last night, and they stay in my closet. But that would be a lie and personally I prefer to answer as much honesty as I can.
I have read many ghost stories book written by ghost hunters. Their job is not to prove an ghost exists but to disprove a ghost exists. In most of their encounters, they have not seen a spirit let alone capture it on film.
Sometimes a person's believe in encountering a ghost may depend on their cultural heritage. My family is Irish and Irish are notorious for believing ghosts and telling good ghost stories.
My mom herself said she had seen her late father one night. She was having a bad day and was having a anxiety attack. She looked up from her chair which faces our kitchen and see her father coming up the backstairs outside. The next thing she knew she calmed down and feel asleep.
Does this prove the existence of ghosts? No! But it is something she swore happened.
The best bet for you is to go to the bookstore and see if you can pick up a book written by ghosthunters and not a book that is just a ghost story. They will explain their theories (which is generally accepted by the ghosthunter community) and their experience.

Yes they do. Some of them appear as a white mist or light (especially if they're captured in photos) and most take on full form and look like people. Ghosts are simply spirits of the deceased who haven't left a particular locations. My former teacher saw her brother the night after he was laid to rest and he simply came to tell her goodbye and that he loved her. A family friend visited my little sister on three consecutive occasions. My mom continued to see a little girl in the home we once lived in while I continued to see the a black silhouette of a man walking through walls. At times there were a lot of activity and noises as if a party was occurring. So yes, ghosts are VERY real. This is just one of those things that most people can't explain (or haven't experienced) so it's easy for them to dismiss it and say that ghosts are nonexistent.

They can appear in various forms. The more mentally strong people were in life, the more detailed they can appear to us. Some appear as a light, an orb, mist, vapor, sometimes they can appear looking like long white whispy strings in a human shape. I have seen spirits appear in various forms. The live amongst us they are on the same earth but another plane that you rise up to when you die. They cannot hurt you. But there are demented souls as well they can appear. But for the most part you shouldnt be afraid.

There are plenty of photos on the internet that shows evidence of something unusual, and people try to label them as ghosts. I am intrigue by these "ghost" pictures and I do think that there is something out there that could possibly be ghosts.

okay, I will probely get slack for this belief, but....
I dont think that 'ghost' exist, but I do believe in spirits. I am a Christian and believe in heaven, hell, and that we go to one or the other. I personally am not sure that what we feel or 'see' is a spirit in the 'flesh' or just something that only one person can see. Maybe they are angels, I dont know for sure. I only know that I have felt and seen spirits personally...
of course i could just need a medication adjustment....LOL!!!

Yes they do/ no they dont but many believe they dont I dont know what to believe.They stay in haunted houses or manshions where only terror and mysery happened.Most stay at cemetaries and others stay at houses and manshions where people were tortured. If u ever saw the movie called AMITYVILLE HORROR u might just believe n them. that movie was based on a true story and is about a house thhat was used as a Torture chamber for the Native americans.THat movie is scary and makes u scared since its based on a real house and story.

I can't answer all these questions, but the one I can answer is that I believe in ghost. I have seen one. It was a woman in a business I use to work for. She almost looked like my best friend but much older.

Yes, I've heard them, didn't see them and they stay in my house.
I'm a total 100% believer of ghosts. Ours is freindly here but I've heard of some not so nice one's.
