I see that Nancy Pelosi is going to pull the troops out of Iraq by Sept 08 if she has her way.

Nice going. Put a date on it and everything. She should go over there and paint bulls eyes on their bodies too, while she is at it.

Most followers of Islam are innocent victims in all of this mess. The insurgents and radicals are to blame.

You atheists are next on the blame list. George W. Bush has been nothing but a courageous leader, and you fight him every step of the way.

Lets just put it this way. You people would have melted Hitlers heart.

While I agree at first he did the right thing- even got us in the military a raise- I cant help but feel that the biggest reason he's still fighting is oil. Remember oil is in his family. I agree that those people need our help, and it's the duty of nations who CAN help to do something about it. But I think it's about time for us to stop fighting their war, and teach them how to defend themselves instead. I agree if we just pull out, we'll undermine everything we went there to accomplish, but it's getting rather pointless. We need to help them build up their army, show them the ropes, and start pulling out. Athiests have nothing to do with the picture. It's not a crusade or a Jihad. It's an international police action to stop terrorists, and aid a country in overcoming an evil despot. I personally believe the senate has no place telling the military it's buisness, but then I also believe everyone who wants to rule this country needs to have served it first. I cant stand it when militarily ignorant people get all up in arms about the military.

I’d also like to ad to some of the people above because it irks me- As the general populous you don’t KNOW what evidence the White House had in Iraq, because you don’t NEED to know. We have been in serious JEAPORDY more times than you can count, and you don’t know about it. Why? Because you don’t NEED to know. It would cause useless panic, and people would sit around trying to figure out exactly who to blame. There is a reason they classify information people- because if YOU know the enemy knows. If the enemy knows, they can hide it, or fight back as the case may be. 90% of war is having better information than the other guy... That’s the reason we have entire divisions of intelligence! To find out secrets! I know the media thinks it know EVERYHTING that goes on, and dutifully reports it back, but there is plenty they keep from us. Viable legitimate reasons for continuing the fight, Example- did you know we once almost went to war with China over boots? True story. Look it up sometime.

First of all, when has the United States EVER been in jeopardy? They are the most powerful nation in the world.
Second of all, shut up! George Bush, a courageous leader? What the hell are you toking on?
Yes, the fundamentalists are to blame for the violence, but how the hell do you propose to stop terrorism by invading, occupying and practically destroying an otherwise innocent nation? Wow, does that remind you of someone? Say, Hitler?I don't know if you know this, but terrorists actually function above the law of their country.
George Bush is a war-monger. Grow a brain cell.

I do believe you have things a little in the wrong direction. You mentioned Hitler, you should know then that he was a very religious christian.

Who is doing most of the killing and to who. It is the muslims killing muslims for the most part. Some others once in a while but they do target their own. Yolu say it is not the fault of most of the muslims but I say it is. There are enough of them claiming to be peace loving to get at it and do something about those causing so much havoc.

Iraq will take a long time to settle and for the people to learn new ways.

Africa is the same in Darfor and it is muslims killing muslims.

Sure seems like thereis another oe that is wxactly the same.

Two wars in Europe in the ninetys and what was that about.

No it is not us atheists that is the p[roblem at all. Most of us sit back and realy try to figure out how so many people say they want peace and at the same time profess hate and bigatry.

You see we have out aopinions as well and they are just as valid as yours are. I am not a bush hater although I do think he could have done better. I do not hate anyone and do try to get along with people. I live in an area where there are a lot of muslims and mosks. I know many and talk to many and it does scare me.

There are people being killed every day now as a result of muslims wanting to take part of the nation. One side uses bombs and terror the other tries to prevent this and does its best to protect the inocent.

Get of your and see what is real in this world. I have been to many lands and met many peoples.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh LET ME AT HIM

Ok, so, since when did religion become the founding element in a "safe/sucessful" country??? You forget WHAT makes the United States worth protecting! Things like FREEDOM OF RELIGION.

I do hope you're being ironic or sarcastic or whatever---I hate when people bring Hitler into these things. Espeically considering, hm. Who would Hitler support? Killing Americans or drawing them to saftey and to avoid more warefare. Jeez that's a toughie...

BTW There was NO REASON for Bush to send those troops in the first place! Have you heard the news? The evidence the White House had ended up being INACCURATE and now we're in this mess with massive killings. It's all thanks to your pal George, who, by the way, is the reason most of the world hates Americans as a whole now.

I see your point, but even though I'm Christian, I'm never going to be George W. Bush's Number 1 Fan.... The war should finish when it is necessary to finish it, not when some stupid woman wants it to.... her deadline is only like 18 months away, its probably too soon. If we pull them out now, then, the average Muslim is going to get persecuted all over again...

There's a similar debate going on in Australia, about whether they should send the Asylum seekers back... and this is the reason most people dont want to send them back.... but John Howard, doesnt seem to listen... He is however a very courageous Prime Minister for Australia. Lots of people think that he's just George W. Bush's puppy dog, like Tony Blair, but what they dont realise is, we're closer to South East Asia and the Middle East, and if we didnt support George W. Bush, we'd have no help if we were invaded.

Your question is just filled to the brim with logical fallacy's. Hitler does not like Atheists. It is an Argument um ad Hominim to just associate anything you don't like with Hitler. It has been done to death and carrys no weight. You can use Hitler to win any debate. So that is now just childish. Many atheists support Bush, many Christians do not. He has been a courageous leader, but he has not made all the right decisions.
Try a better question next time.

Hmmm...the radicals point I can agree with, but I also have never liked George W...and wish whenever he had gone to Iraq, he'd let the radicals know...Cleaning the House!

I try in my soul to belive that we are as a species are trying to advance, but evidence sometimes harkens contrary.

Atheism to me while I can see the reason, still just feels like a directionless perspective...I think it is important to have a belief platform of some vent...regardless of dogmatic attachment.

Something to help you find hope, etc!

I want a groupie in my game!

Oh really? Wait, I'm not a citizen, an atheist, but not a citizen of the US. I just live there. So uh... Anyway, let's continue.

Oh, I would have melted Hitler's heart? Oh, I suppose that's evil enough. If I could have, I really would have cut out his heart, put it in the furnace, and watch it melt, all the while laughing at his corpse. I would burn it, then dance on its ashes with my boots.

And um, sorry to break it to you, but... I'm pretty sure Nancy Pelosi is, in fact, a Christian. YOU PHAIL. Not just fail. PHAIL.

Wow. Talk about an air head .
You do know, that nearly every war we had is because of religious right? Because, well, if YOU are going to listen to stereotypes and not put in any logic at all, then I might as well be rude here -
I think the question is, will RELIGIOUS PEOPLE continue to put our country in jeopardy, not only can't y'all accept reality, but you kill (when the bible says not to) but oh yea, I guess its okay because god killed millions of people and the devil killed like only so somehow the devil is evil. And yall bash on people because they aren't like you
Grow up, kid.

She's not an atheist and neither is Sheila Jackson-Lee of TX who is about to have HB 254 passed, limiting and restricting Free Speech! If that passes you can be fined and or imprisoned! They both claim to be Christian.

You can go to the march nextmonth and voice your displeasure, in the "Hold their Feet To The Fire March".
