why is there no automatic sports bikes like automatic cars as to 5-speed or standard?

are there any sports bikes that are automatic and if so what are the names of them?

There have been a few attempts at automatic bicycles too. They have never caught on either.

You won't find many really good sports cars in auto either. Sports means performance, manual usually gives better performance. Enthusiasts change gears.
