My friend says her MS word is stuck on uppercase...we can't work out how to get it back to lower case letters.....ggggrrrrrrr

Several things to check:
One
The Caps Lock Key is off
Two
While in Word go to:
Format --> Font --> Make sure the tick from the All caps box is unchecked
This is the most likely cause of the problem

Try checking caps Lock, or the global template normal,dot file has gotten formatting in it, or become corrupted.
Close Word (and Outlook if it;s open), search for the file (it's hidden so make sure to include hiddden files and folders in your search) just rename it to "oldnormal.dot" and rest6art Word, it'll make a new normal.dot
