I'm a hypochondriac too, I think the fear of disease and death triggers this in my opinion, its like if i get a simple urinary tract infection i go to the doctors like 6 times just to make sure its not cancer, so i know how you feel. Possibly counseling could help, not a psych just a counselor to guide you through your thoughts and you may be able to recognize or be able to cope with these intense but sometimes unrealistic views of our health. I suffer from anxiety as well so I'm on these pills called xanax / Valium they help but i don't really want to be pushing someone to get drugs. If it is affecting your every day life then a benzodiazipine script may be of some definite benefit. Please don't let the doctors talk you into getting antidepressants for their anti anxiety affects, email me if you like more info on why i think that, but those top two drugs i mentioned will help you if you are looking for a pharmacological solution. hope things work out for you

hello, im the type of person that worries alot as well. But I dont let it control me. When i worry TOO much my nose bleeds, and I remember the doctor said it use to blead because the blood was actually coming from my brain. Just worry less, be positive and happy! Go for jogs outside to clear the mind.

Good Luck, hope this helped =)
