If they promised 24 hr delivery, then it is up to them to make sure you get your stuff. They can blame the post office as much as they like, but you have a contract with the supplier, not the post office. You need to check whether it was guaranteed 24hr delivery, or just says usually within 24hrs. Good luck anyway, hope you feel a bit better now that you've given them the bad publicity they deserve.

well, you have to give them the benefit of the doubt.
lets face it.... this could well be down to the appalling postal delivery system that we have in this country.
you have to give them a chance to contact royal mail - and royal mail wont do anything until a certain amount of time has passed.
It doesnt do any good to lose your temper with a guy who may have sent off your package, well wrapped, correctly addressed and with the correct postage - he knows that there _are_ customers about who will 'try it on' to get a refund, etc, etc.
wait the required time, phone the company, be firm but polite and it will probably get sorted out sooner and better than if you go in 'full guns blazing'

I can imagine how you are feeling. Perhaps the company has had many problems with previous customers "trying it on", so the suggestion to leave it until 10 days have passed will prove that you are a genuine irate customer. In order to reassure you that you are cared for as a customer, it would be good if they could send you a little extra something or even a credit note as a goodwill gesture. Perhaps this is worth suggesting to them, especially if they want you to continue as their customer.

Standard procedure I'm afraid - Post Office won't accept any responsibility before TEN DAYS have passed. Best thing is to ring your local (nearest) sorting office and rant at them for non delivery - if they have been busy - your parcel may be stuck in a backlog - I know, I've had the same problem and they found mine in a four day old pile of mail.

nice one imarky, I was just about to buy needles from this company! Instead I'll just get them from 'hard to find'. Bastards like this disgust me........Take your money and feck you off with poor excuses as if YOU are somehow to blame! Oh well, they've just lost an order from me, and I'll be sure to advise all my techno buddies that this company is about ripping people off. I might even send them an e-mail telling them that I'm taking my business elsewhere. My advice is to give it 10 days, and if your item still hasn't arrived, put as many feeds as you can under the heading "sapphires dj store", telling everyone on the web what a bunch of ripp-off merchants these guys are! Please be sure to e-mail me if the item turns up.
GOOD LUCK!!

Ask them for a full refund and demand payment by the next day! Seriously put your complaint in writing, they will always fob you off on the phone.

Either threathen them that you are going to see your solicitor to recoup your losses (including time you have spent at home waiting for the delivery) or see citizens advice and ask them where you stand. obviously they are breaching your contract with them so you should have a good case.
good luck

By law, items are not allowed to be debited from your account until they have dispatched. If you haven't been debited, you should be able to cancel your order. If you have been debited, then try the Citizens' Advice Bureau

Go back to your order information and make sure you have your correct address posted and ask them to what address your order was sent.
