Don't worry about it, egg yolks are usually in the center of eggs.

Getting the yolk to be in the exact center of the egg? I've never heard of anyway to do that. The other answers have the correct way to cook them.
This is kinda fun.....did you know that you can tell if an egg is raw or hard-boiled by spinning it? If you lay an egg on it's side and try to spin it like a top, a raw egg won't spin or spin very well anyway. A hard-boiled egg will spin easily and if you spin it fast enough it will even stand up while it's spinning.
Try it!

You can assure the egg is hard cooked by following this method

To hard cook eggs, place the eggs in a sauce pan large enough for all of the eggs to sit on the bottom. Cover the eggs with fresh cold water. Put a lid on the pan and set over high heat. When the water begins to boil and steam starts to escape from the pan, remove the pan from the heat and let it sit, covered, for 14 minutes.

Drain the eggs and then plunge them into a large bowl of ice water. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
