Men and women have a lot of differences. It takes a lifetime to figure them out, and even then it's still hard.
Some men are more emotional than others, just like some women are.
I'm sure that sooner or later you'll find someone more compatible with you, and you'll be happier. Good luck.

Men/Boys are like sports cars, you don't need them but want them, and they can be replaced. You may get very sad over losing a car you crash, then you find another you love just the same, but differently. So have your cry, take a deep breath, and go out and drive another one. He'll be a happy memory someday, maybe as a learning experience, maybe how a relationship turned into a nice friendship or how you got away from what would have been a miserable waste of your time.

Oh sweetie let me give you a hint men do have feelings they just have them in the wrong place. Let me tell you if you hurt him though it will be a whole different story, your mistake with this guy was crying allright but its not for weak people its just that it makes him feel guilty for being such an idiot you shouldnt go out with him anymore go out and find yourself a nice guy and be happy they are out there or you can just ignore him and when he calls act real busy and like you really dont have any time for him and trust me hell come running back men love a challenge when they conquer it then there gone so turn it around you become the dog.

It is not that boys have emotions, unfortunately they are not often allowed to express them without ridicule.
So going back out does not sound like it is in the cards.
Often people end up mistreating people when they break up to make themselves feel better.
If he acts like a jerk people will say you said leave him, this makes him feel better about a tough decision.
For whatever reason the relationship has ended, so you must now find a way to deal with that and move on.

Crying is not for the week minded he doesnt know what hes talking about, when i broke up with my girlfriend before Christmas i cried like a baby, and i consider my selfto be quite manly, last time i cried was when mom died thats almost 14 years ago, i tend to not show a lot of emotion.

Boys are just as eveybit emotional as girls, but boys have more pride and tend to be more stubborn than girls. When a guy tells you not to cry over him and says its for the weak, all he's doing is playing the male role of the tough/loner/outcast/macho dude. Inuyasha does it all the time.

he grew up idolizing a man (most likely his father) who also had no emotions and believed that men don't cry and emotions are for the weak, have a stiff upper lip, blah blah, blah. Honey, you don't want to be with a man who wants to live life like a robot. Especially one that isn't recognizing that won't validate your feelings of hurt. He's a stone cold metal robot.

Guys have emotions. Your ex sounds like he was raised by one of those "he-man" types who thinks crying is for sissies.
Unfortunately, fathers in the US have raised their boys to be "men" which means that they are taught it is not manly to show emotion. This has caused all kinds of problems in many areas of life.
You'll be better off without this guy. If you stayed together he'd berate you more and more as time went by.

he told you not to cry because it's not your fault he walked away !
but that is nature, people cry until they get used to the drama they had.
you'll get over it soon .. this is just a phase in your life then you gotta move on forward ..
boys cry too :) but maybe not in front of a girl .. they are human and they have feelings. and your ex-boyfriend have feelings too because he cares about you and don't want you to be sad.
