Can they see the future or sense that something really bad is going to happen? are they messengers of God?

Nobody can "sense" the future in the way you mean.

However, the brain is a huge pattern recognition machine that can sometimes figure out when something is not quite right. It might be a pattern in what's happening that doesn't even come to a conscious though or anything specific. But we sometimes get "spooked" when the brain picks out something in the environment. Much of the time, it turns out to be a "false positive", but sometimes it does help us.

It's not any "messengers" from any god. That's just superstition.

I've never heard of crystal-clear "visions" of the future, but I do believe in some sort of a "sixth sense" that kicks in at random times. I'm an agnostic, but I believe that people have the power to foresee little bits of the future, if they work at it.

Hope this helps.

You mean "messages from God".

No, they are not.

They are sometimes considered to be natural instincts warning us like, when you get the feeling that someone is watching you.

Or, when you feel that something wrong or bad is going to happen.; but, cannot explain why.
Cheers!
